REGULATIONS ESTABLISHING STANDARDS
FOR ACCREDITING PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN VIRGINIA

To provide school divisions guidance regarding the revised regulations the Board of Education adopted the following guidance document at the board’s October 25, 2006 board meeting.

In December 2007, Governor Timothy Kaine submitted proposed changes to the Standards of Accreditation for Board of Education consideration.
