Virginia Standards of Learning Assessments

Braille and Large Print Released Items

The content areas for which the tests have been released are: English: Reading and Writing, Mathematics, and Science in grades 3, 5, and 8 and End-of-Course.  These released test items were compiled from appropriate and releasable Braille and Large Print items contained in 2000-2003 Standards of Learning tests.  These items are intended for use as sample items and may not provide complete coverage of test blueprints.

Braille

Braille released item sets are available from your Division Director of Testing (DDOT).  Additional Braille released item sets are available upon request from your DDOT to the Division of Assessment and Reporting.

Large Print

Large Print released item sets should be printed onto 11.5 x 15 inch paper to preserve formatting and graphic representations.
