The curriculum framework is presented below as a complete document, in both Word and PDF format, which may be viewed, printed, or downloaded. It is also presented in parts, which (due to the size of the file) may be more useful for viewing or printing only a particular section or sections. For help with PDF files, click here.

NOTE: The History and Social Science Standards of Learning assessments will continue to be based on the 2001 History and Social Science Standards of Learning through the summer 2010 test administration. Field-test items on the spring 2010 History and Social Science Standards of Learning assessments will include the new content of the revised 2008 standards. In the 2010-2011 school year, the Standards of Learning assessments will be based upon the revised 2008 Standards.
