Economics Education and Financial Literacy
These objectives for economics education and financial literacy are required of all students at the middle and high school levels to further the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for responsible citizenship in a constitutional democracy.

Project Graduation Algebra I Modules
These instructional modules and resources were developed for school divisions participating in Governor Mark R. Warner's Project Graduation Regional Academy grant program. These grants will allow school divisions to replicate the success of the pilot academies conducted during summer 2003 in Southside Virginia.

Mathematics Vocabulary
Language in mathematics is important because it is necessary for communication, mathematics reasoning, and precision. Words, symbols, and diagrams must map onto each other. The definitions or explanations given are not definitions or explanations that students should memorize but are the mathematics that the teacher should know in order to provide in-depth instruction in the content.

mymoney.gov is the Federal Government's Web site dedicated to helping Americans understand more about their money - how to save it, invest it, and manage it to meet personal goals. The resources on this site can be used to learn how to do these things and manage money better.

Federal Resources for Free Educational Resources
More than 30 Federal agencies formed a working group in 1997 to make hundreds of Federally supported teaching and learning resources easier to find. The result of that work is the FREE web site. The U.S. Department of Education (ED), on behalf of the FREE Working Group, was selected in 1997 by the Government Information Technology Services Board to support federal agencies that would partner with teachers to develop online learning materials and learning communities around agency resources.

NASA CONNECT
NASA CONNECT ™ is an annual series of FREE integrated math, science, and technology programs for students in grades 6–8.

Algebra Resource Center
The Virginia Algebra Resource Center (ARC) is a Web site designed for Algebra I teachers and students across the Commonwealth. ARC is intended to provide easy access to resources that address Virginia's SOL.

Jump$tart Coalition
Jump$tart's aim is to identify high-quality personal finance materials for educational use. The Clearinghouse is a database of personal finance resources available from a variety of education providers such as government, business and non-profit organizations.
