A Better Education for a Brighter Future.

Educational Information Management System

The Virginia Department of Education partnered with Pearson Educational Measurement to develop the EIMS. The system's primary purpose is to create, assign and track a unique State Testing Identifier (STI) for each Virginia public school student and to offer data disaggregation capabilities to report SOL, SAT, AP, PALS and alternate assessment scores from 2000-2001 to the present.
Longitudinal data begins with the Fall 2005 assessments.
