name is Lan W. Neugent, Assistant Superintendent for Technology,
and it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Virginia
Department of Education Technology Division Website. The Technology
Division strives to provide quality service to our constituencies
in both the department of education and school divisions.
We follow
this mission…
Our mission is to support Virginia Department of Education
and school division educational improvement efforts through
use of technology. The division provides technological training,
guidance, service and information to department personnel
and school administrators. This enables the department to
function more efficiently and assists school divisions as
they use technology to improve the teaching and learning process
for their students.
And work toward these departmental goals….
