Services Provided

Virtual Virginia
Live teleconferences and videos on a variety of staff development and administrative topics telecast via satellite. Online courses, tutorials and streaming video links can be accessed through Virtual Virginia.

E-Rate Consultation — provides timely information on the Universal Service telecommunications / Internet discount (E-Rate) program. Teleconferences, Superintendent's Memos, E-mail updates, telephone assistance and face-to-face regional meetings update schools on the status and changes in the program.

Video Duplication — provides copies of DOE Productions and other videos with copyright clearances to DOE and other state agencies, school divisions, private schools, and Institutions of Higher Education.

Video Library — circulates classroom and staff development videos in a wide range of subject areas to DOE and other state agencies, school divisions, private schools, and Institutions of Higher Education.

Video Production — produces a wide range of broadcast quality television programs and related video services. Provides technical assistance to DOE and school divisions in the areas of program design, video production facilities and techniques, video production curriculum development, and contracting for writers and external production.
