Greg Weisiger, Director of Teleproduction Services.
Greg coordinates the overall efforts of Teleproduction Services. He also
manages the Virginia Satellite Educational Network, or VSEN, which provides
advanced placement and foreign language instruction and staff development via
satellite and the Internet. He also disseminates information and guidance to
schools on theUniversal Service (E-Rate) program.

Jon Petersen, Media Production Specialist. Jon coordinates
the Video Library, Video Duplication Center and Equipment Loan Center. He also
provides audio visual presentation support to the DOE and the Board of
Education as well as technical assistance to school divisions. Jon also writes
and produces staff development courses and materials for the Department's

Ed Damerel, Chief Engineer. Ed designs and maintains DOE
television production and transmission equipment located throughout the Monroe
building. He provides TV engineering support and assists in the production of
inservice video programs. He also coordinates the procurement of outside repair

Robert Traylor, Instructional Telecommunications Technician.
Robert serves as the video librarian, processing orders for circulation and
duplication. Robert is the person to contact for copies of any of the
Departments video programs. He also handles audio-visual equipment loan
for DOE staff use in workshops, conferences, and other presentations.

Edna Booker,
Administrative Support Specialist. Edna keeps things running administratively
for the Virginia Satellite Educational Network (VSEN). She answers calls on the
VSEN 800 telephone line providing information to students and support materials
to teachers enrolled in staff development courses. Edna also maintains the data
