NEH Education Division Grant Opportunity |
The
National Endowment for the Humanities is accepting grant submissions for
projects to strengthen the teaching and learning in history, literature,
foreign languages and cultures and other areas of the humanities in United
States K-12 and college classrooms.
Grants
up to $100,000 for curriculum development projects and up to $200,000 for
materials development projects are available. The projects should develop new
curricula or instructional and learning materials or revise existing materials.
The projects will serve as national models of excellence and should draw from
the humanities through the use of scholars and teachers as advisers. Projects
that provide solutions to frequent problems encountered by teachers in the
field of the humanities are of particular interest.
The
deadline for submission is October 15, 2003. Guidelines and applications can be
