Summer
Institute on the Cultural Diversity of the American South |
The
Tennessee Geographic Alliance and Department of Geography at the University of
Tennessee are providing a four-week summer institute on the cultural diversity
of the American South through a grant from the National Endowment for the
Humanities. The institute will be held at the University of Tennessee in
Knoxville June 20 – July 19, 2004.
Twenty-five
teachers from throughout the United States will be selected to participate in
the institute. Each participant will receive a $2,800 stipend to cover travel
and subsistence expenses.
