National Council for the Social Studies Grant Opportunity

The National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) will award 33 teams of teachers $7,500 each to cover the cost to attend a summer workshop, implement the “CiviConnections: Constructing the Past, Creating the Future” program, and attend the 2004 NCSS Annual Conference in Baltimore.

Teams competing for the grants must consist of three teachers from grades 3-12 in the same school district. The deadline for submission of applications is April 30, 2004.
