Governor’s Summer Residential Program |
On October
14, 2005, Informational Superintendent’s Memorandum No. 204 provided
information regarding the application and submission of nominees for the 2006
Governor’s Summer Residential Program.
The Governor’s Foreign Language Academies will include programs in
French, German, Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. The Summer Residential Governor’s Schools
will consist of programs in agriculture; humanities; life sciences and
medicine; mathematics, science, and technology; mentorships; and visual and
performing arts.
The
Department of Education appreciates your assistance in providing the following
department chairpersons and other professionals in your building with a copy of
this memorandum:

Gifted
education;
·
Guidance;
·
Mathematics;
·
Science;
·
Technology;

Visual
and performing arts.
