  Identifying and Treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: A Resource for School And Home is a resource guide published by The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The guide provides families and educators with information on how ADHD is identified and treated and includes sections on legal requirements, treatment options and helpful hints on how to improve the quality of life at home and at school, for a child identified with ADHD.
  Teaching Children wtih Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: Instructional Strategies and Practices is the second in a series of three publications that addresses issues related to the instruction of children with ADHD.This guide outlines a series of instructional strategies that have proven to be successful in educating children with ADHD. The three main components of a successful strategy for educating children with ADHD are academic interventions, behavioral interventions, and classroom accommodations.In using these strategies, teachers will create an enhanced learning environment for all students.
  The National Resource Center on AD/HD: A Program of CHADD ...is the nation's clearinghouse for evidence-based information about all aspects of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). Funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the NRC provides information on this disorder which affects how millions of children and adults function on a daily basis. The NRC was created to meet the information needs of professionals and the general public.
