Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessment Results
Terminology.

From 1998 to 2005, the Standards of Learning (SOL) spring testing results for English, mathematics, history/social science and science for grades 3, 5, and 8, as well as for end-of-course tests were reported.

Beginning in 2006, spring SOL results will no longer be reported in this manner. However, complete results of all assessments in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, and end-of-course tests for fall, spring,and summer may be found on the School Report Cards.
