Casio, Incorporated, a producer of handheld technology for schools, is providing grants for teacher training, relevant materials and follow-up technology support. The average grant award is $5,000. The purpose of the Casio grant program is to improve education through the use of handheld technology such as graphing calculators. The main goal is to provide teachers with the ability to successfully teach using technology in the classroom. Grant money may not be used for student training or calculators for students. The information attached includes grant requirements, a grant application form, and questions to be addressed when applying.
