  We have received notice from the U.S. Department of Education
  that FY 1998 applications have been sent to school divisions
  for Impact Aid.  The deadline for filing applications is
  February 2, 1998.

  Ms. Doris B. West, Senior Budget Analyst, at (804) 225-2091.
