A No Child Left Behind Title I School Improvement Technical Assistance Audio Workshop |
The Department of
Education is pleased to announce a No Child Left Behind (NCLB) one-hour
technical assistance audio workshop.
The workshop is designed for superintendents, Title I coordinators, and
principals of schools in year 1, year 2, and year 3 of Title I School
Improvement.
Included in the
first part of the audio workshop will be an overview of Title I School
Improvement requirements for public school choice, supplemental educational
services, and corrective actions. The second part of the workshop will be
dedicated to questions from participants.
The one-hour audio
workshop will be held at three different times on Thursday, January 6, 2005.
School divisions with schools in Title I School Improvement are asked to
assemble their participants at one location, use a speaker phone, and
participate at the time assigned below.
Divisions are assigned time
according to the beginning letter of their school division name. At the appointed starting time, the caller
should dial the toll-free number and enter the pass code below.

by fax on or before December 15, 2004, to Diane Jay, education specialist, at
(804) 371-7347. The form contains a place to list any Title I questions you
would like addressed at the workshop. If you need additional information,
