Submission
of Division Remediation Plan for Fiscal Year 2006-2007, Due Date: March 23, 2006 |
Regulation 8-VAC-20-630 (Attachment A) provides standards
for state-funded remedial programs and requires school divisions to submit a
remediation plan, record and report specified data pertaining to their
state-funded remedial programs, maintain an individual student record
indicating the student’s expected remediation goal, and
annually evaluate the success of these programs.
School
divisions are required to submit a remedial plan for summer remedial programs
for fiscal year 2006, including programs planned for intersessions for
2006-2007 for year-round schools. The
required remediation plan (Attachment B) must be submitted, electronically to
Shelly.Bazemore@doe.virginia.gov, for approval by the Virginia Board of
Education no later than March 23, 2006.
