Title I, Part A Comparability Report |
To
receive Title I, Part A funds, a school division must annually verify
comparability of services for Title I and non-Title I schools as stipulated in
Section 1120 (A) of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001(NCLB). The required data
will be submitted through the Single Sign-on for Web Systems (SSWS). Please
contact your local SSWS contact person to obtain access to the Title I
Comparability Report Web-based application and the accompanying instructions. Your
local contact person can be found at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Publications/ADMN/datacoll/schid_contacts.xls.
The 2007-2008
Title I Comparability Report will be available beginning December 14, 2007, at https://p1pe.doe.virginia.gov/ssws.
Once access to SSWS has been gained, the comparability cover page will
appear. Click on the word “instructions”
at the top right side of the page, and follow the instructions for completing
the report.
After
entering the required data, please print a copy of the verification report, and
obtain the signature of the superintendent or designee. Retain the complete
report on file in the Title I coordinator’s office, and fax only the signed
verification page to Mrs. Helen Tucker, administrative support, at (804)371-7347
before January 29, 2008.
