| SUBJECT: | Regional Teleconferences for Middle and Secondary Guidance Counselors |
The Department of Education has scheduled a teleconference focused on graduation requirements. The broadcast is intended for middle and high school guidance counselors. The broadcast will occur over the Virginia Satellite Educational Network (VSEN) – Galaxy 3, Channel 14 (the VSEN Japanese class channel) on Wednesday, November 28, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The broadcast can be viewed at any facility having the satellite capability. However, the department has arranged for eight regional viewing locations hosted by the respective Governor’s Best Practice Center. Following the broadcast the counselors will be invited to discuss the information and to pose questions or issues that require further clarification. The department will produce a question and answer document as a follow-up to the broadcast.
