Middle and high schools in the United States, Indian Tribes, and the U. S. Territories are eligible to apply for this national recognition. Schools must serve the community and demonstrate a high quality of service-learning at the school level.
The National Service-Learning Leader Schools program recognizes middle schools and high schools for their exemplary efforts to integrate student service into curricular activities.
