SUBJECT:	Disneys American Teacher Awards

The Walt Disney Company is searching for dynamic, creative teachers who lead their students to the heights of learning. The program honors those teachers whose approaches exemplify creativity in teaching and who inspire a joy of learning in their students. Teachers in public and private schools, pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, are eligible to be nominated. All winners will be honored with monetary awards and recognition at a nationally televised awards gala.

Students, parents, other teachers or anyone who knows a great teacher may nominate a teacher for this award. Nominations can be made in one of two ways only:

through the Disney website, www.DisneyLearning.org., or

by phoning toll free, 1-877-ATA-TEACH (1-877-282-8322).

Nominations for this years Disneys American Teacher Awards will be accepted until March 31, 2002.
