Institute for Social Studies Teachers |
The Center
for Civic Education will conduct the second annual Virginia Summer Institute on
the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The We the Peoplethe
Citizen and the Constitution program prepares participants to teach
in-depth lessons on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The sponsors
of the program provide an all-expense paid professional development program at
James Madison University July 10-17, 2002. In addition, participants will
receive a classroom set of textbooks and an opportunity to earn graduate
credit. Applications must be submitted to the outreach education manager at
James Madisons Montpelier by Friday, April 26, 2002.
