Duke
University Talent Identification Program Advanced Placement Teacher Workshop |
The Talent
Identification Program (TIP) at Duke University will conduct an Advanced
Placement (AP) Teacher Workshop on June 14-15, 2002, in Chapel Hill, North
Carolina.
This two-day
workshop focuses on enhancement of teaching strategies to prepare students for
the tests as well as practical classroom use of AP manuals and
simulations. AP session leaders will
conduct the instruction, and participants will use actual AP exams and answers
to cover various test evaluation procedures.
Content areas include:
English Language and Composition
English Literature and Composition
Calculus AB
European History
United States History
The
registration fee of $250 includes all workshop instructional materials, a copy
of a TIP AP manual, and breakfast and lunch for both days.
