Micron
Science and Technology Scholars Program |
Micron
Technology Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that up to $230,000 in
scholarships will be awarded in the Micron Science and Technology Scholars
Program. This program was established
to recognize high school seniors in the states of Idaho, Utah, Texas, Virginia
and Colorado who have demonstrated excellence in academics and leadership.
Criteria for
application to this program include the following:
Applicants must-
Be a high
school senior who resides in and attends
public or private school in one of the five selected states
Have a
combined SAT score of at least 1350 or a composite ACT score of at least 30
Have an
unweighted grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
Plan to major
in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Mechanical), Computer Science,
Physics, Chemistry or Material Sciences at an accredited four-year college or
university
Have
demonstrated leadership in school, work and/or extracurricular activities
