Free course
on World War II, the Holocaust and Twentieth Century Genocide |
The Virginia Holocaust Museums Teacher
Education Program is offering a free two-weekend course with free materials for
teachers of history, social science, and language arts. Participants will
receive 30 Continuing Education Points.
The course will provide teachers with
an introduction to the interrelated subjects of World War II, the Holocaust and
Twentieth-Century genocides. A brochure on the course is attached.
Classes will meet on the following
dates and times at the Virginia Holocaust Museum, 2000 East Cary St., Richmond,
Virginia:
Friday,
October 24, from 4pm to 8pm
Saturday,
October 25, from 9am to 1pm
Friday,
October 31, from 4pm to 8 pm
Saturday,
November 1, from 9 am to 1 pm.
