Do Something - Kindness & Justice Challenge
|
This is to
inform you that the 2004 Do Something - Kindness & Justice Challenge
is honoring the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through
participation in a special two-week program from January 19-30, 2004. This initiative is a component of Do
Somethings year-round leadership program in schools. Do Something is a
national leadership and citizenship project in which students in grades K-12
are encouraged to take positive action in their communities. If your school is interested in this
challenge, you may register at www.dosomething.org. Registration is free, and schools receive a
grade-appropriate curriculum to assist in teaching about such values as responsibility
and respect.
