SUBJECT:	Civil War Summer Teacher Institute

The Civil War Preservation Trust will offer the Civil War Teacher Institute July 30 August 1, 2004. College professors, teachers of grades 3-12, librarians, and history education staff will be provided with information on resources on the Civil War and will visit Appomattox Courthouse. James Robertson and William Davis will be the speakers for the institute.

The Institute is free and includes meals. Participants are responsible for their lodging. A block of rooms are reserved at the Hotel Roanoke. Reservations must be made by Friday, July 9, 2004.
