Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association Scholarships |
The Virginia
Christmas Tree Growers Association (VCTGA) is an association of professional
Christmas tree growers interested in expansion of its farming industry by
growing and marketing quality trees.
Through the support of research and education, the organization strives
to improve the numbers, quality and types of trees available to the fresh tree
market.
The association
announces its annual $500 educational scholarship to be awarded to a student
who is furthering his/her education through attendance at an accredited
college, university, vocational or trade school. The scholarship requires a forestry or horticultural course be
completed with a passing grade at the college, university, vocational or trade
school of enrollment.
All applications
must be received by Richard Kreh, Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association,
no later than April 15, 2005. To get an
