Professional Development Opportunity for Teachers of United States History: 1877 to the Present and Virginia and United States History

 

I am pleased to bring to your attention a one-day institute entitled, The 1940s: An Era of Evil, American Heroes, and Reconstruction, for teachers of United States History: 1877 to the Present and Virginia and United States History. This professional development opportunity is fully aligned with the Virginia History and Social Science Standards of Learning and is sponsored by the Virginia War Memorial in partnership with the George C. Marshall Foundation and the Virginia Holocaust Museum. The institute is scheduled for Thursday, July 26, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Virginia War Memorial located at 621 South Belvidere Street in Richmond. There is no registration fee.
