The Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) extends an invitation to all division superintendents, principals, assistant principals, and instructional leaders to attend the 2010 Annual VASCD Conference entitled Teaching, Learning, and Leading for Today and Tomorrow. The Conference will be held December 1-3, 2010, at the Williamsburg Marriott, Williamsburg, Virginia.
On December 1, Bill Daggett will facilitate a full-day preconference focus on "Leading Schools During Challenging Times." On December 2 and 3, attendees will hear keynote presentations from Doug Reeves, "Leadership and Learning 2010: Transforming Leadership Decisions into Student Results"; Baruti Kafele, "Motivating Black Males to Achieve in School and Life"; Robin Fogarty, "Change is a Personal Journey"; and Michael Wesch, "Making Connections: Experiments in Learning in New Media Environments." In addition, the Conference offers over forty breakout sessions facilitated by keynote presenters and practitioners from across the Commonwealth.
