The Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) extends an invitation to all division superintendents, principals, assistant principals, teachers, and instructional leaders to attend the 2012 Annual VASCD Conference entitled “Taking on the Challenges in Teaching, Learning, and Leading.” The Conference will be held November 28 - 30, 2012, at the Williamsburg Hotel and Conference Center (formerly the Williamsburg Marriott) in Williamsburg, Virginia.
On November 28, 2012, Heidi Hayes-Jacobs, Executive Director of Curriculum21 Project, will facilitate a full-day preconference, focused on “Integrating the Virginia SOL’s: An Opportunity to Upgrade Curriculum and Assessment for the 21st Century Learner.”
On November 29-30, 2012, attendees will hear keynote presentations from the following:
In addition, the Conference will offer over fifty breakout sessions facilitated by keynote presenters and practitioners from across the Commonwealth.
