June 7, 1996 |
| TO: | Division Superintendents |
| FROM: | William C. Bosher, Jr.
Superintendent of Public Instruction |
| SUBJECT: | Report of Combined (Regular and Summer) Term Graduates, 1995-96 |
The Report of Combined Term (Regular and Summer) Graduates should be completed for each of your secondary schools that had high school graduates for the 1995-96 school year. This package will contain a form for each of the schools in your division that may have high school graduates for the 1995-96 school year, and a copy of the "Instructions for Preparing the Report of Combined Term (Regular and summer) Graduates." Identification of each school division's contact person for 1995-96 will be requested in the School Administration data collection in July 1996. The 1995-96 report of graduates is a single collection that requests the total number of high school graduates for both the regular term, 1995-96 and the summer term, 1996. The combined form should be completed and returned to the Department of Education no later than September 6, 1996. If the school has no graduates, return the school form marked "NONE." If there are no summer graduates to be reported, the report should be completed for only the regular term and can be returned to the Department prior to the due date. To avoid duplicate reporting, the form should not be completed for centers (vocational/technical, special education, alternative education, etc.) to which students who are officially enrolled at other schools, may travel for specialized instruction or training. SUPTS. MEMO. NO. 36 June 7, 1996 Page 2 Each school division contact person for the Report of Graduates should coordinate the collection of the forms for each school in the division and submit them to the Department by the due date.
