SUBJECT: Results of survey on Remedial Summer School

  
  As part of our responsibilities to provide staff support to
  the legislative Subcommittee Studying Remedial Summer
  School, we asked you to complete a three-part survey of your
  1994 and 1995 remedial and other summer school programs.
  
  We have analyzed the responses and developed the attached
  briefing, which was provided to the subcommittee in
  November.  The committee found the information to be quite
  helpful in their deliberations. I plan to share a copy with
  members of the state Board of Education as well.
  
  Thank you for the time and effort spent in responding to the
  survey.  If you have any questions about the briefing,
