Requests for Proposals for Training and Technical Assistance
Centers for Personnel Serving Students with Disabilities |
The Virginia Department of Education is pleased to announce a request for proposals for Training and Technical Assistance Centers (T/TACs) for personnel serving students with disabilities. This project offers any interested party, including local school divisions, an opportunity to operate a center within a statewide system, where local public school division and state operated programs' personnel can access training and technical assistance that promote improved performance of students with disabilities. Awards will be made competitively based on the Department's proposal review process. An optional pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday February 6, 1996, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Virginia Department of Education, James Monroe Building, 101 North 14th Street, Conference Room B-Main Level, Richmond, VA. In case of inclement weather, call (804) 225-2707 for message regarding cancellation of the conference. The request for proposal (RFP) application package is being forwarded under separate cover. A copy of the application package is also being mailed to local directors of special education. RFPs must be received by Dr. Patricia Abrams, Virginia Department of Education, P.O.
