SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 1996 Application for Impact Aid

  
  We have received notice from the U.S. Department of Education
  that FY 1996 applications have been sent to school divisions
  for Impact Aid.  Due to the late passage of the legislation
  that reauthorized the program statute and the delay in the
  distribution of application packages this year, the deadline
  for filing applications is March 15, 1996.
  
  If you did not receive a copy of the application, please call
  Mrs. June Eanes, Budget Director, at (804) 225-2060.  If you
  have any questions concerning the completion of the
  application forms, please contact the Impact Aid staff at
