SUBJECT: Questions and Answers for the 1996-98 Educational Technology Program

  
  The enclosed booklet contains the most frequently asked
  questions and answers for the 1996-98 Educational Technology
  Program to be funded by the General Assembly.  Information
  is presented under four headings: instructional support and
  training, financing, procurement, and acceptable use of
  funds including school division reporting requirements.
  
  The information should be helpful to those involved with
  budgeting for improvement in teaching and learning through
  the use of technology.  Questions relating to financing may
  be directed to Mrs. Kathryn Kitchen, Division Chief for
  Finance, at (804) 225-2025.  All other questions may be
  directed to Dr. Ida J. Hill, Division Chief for Technology,
