| SUBJECT: | Vocational Education Entitlements for 1996-97 |
Attached is a printout reflecting the 1996-97 Carl Perkins Federal entitlements for each school division. These funds will be distributed in the following manner once the local plan has been approved - 50% of the entitlement on the December 30, 1996 EFT and 30% on the March 15, 1997 EFT. The remaining 20% of the entitlement must be requested through the reimbursement process. Instructions and forms will be sent out at a later date concerning the 20%. A Supts. Memo. concerning state entitlements for Occupational Prep, Adult and Equipment will be distributed once the accountability report is received from all school divisions and audited. School divisions may use the amount of state funds they received in 1995-96 as an estimate for 1996-97 until final entitlements are computed.
