SUBJECT: School Dropout Prevention Awareness Week

  
  Attached is a copy of House Joint Resolution No. 382, passed
  by the 1994 General Assembly, designating the second week in
  September each year as "School Dropout Prevention Awareness
  Week."
     
  We join the General Assembly in encouraging you and your
  staff to conduct activities that will heighten public
  awareness of the consequences of dropping out of school and
  that will encourage all young people to remain in school
  until graduation.
