INFORMATIONAL

  In the past, Basic Aid has been adjusted at various times
  during the year for tuition for the residential Governor's
  Schools and Foreign Language Academies, MHMR transfer,
  Electronic Classroom, and tuition for the Deaf/Blind
  Schools.  The decision has been made to make all adjustments
  to Basic Aid at one time.  However, we will notify school
  divisions during the year of the adjustments that will be
  made to Basic Aid (see attachment), but will make the actual
  adjustment on the May 16, 1997 EDI.
  
  With this memo, school divisions are being notified of the
  adjustments that will be made for the tuition for the
  Governor's School and Foreign Language Academies.  As
  adjustments for other programs are finalized, the attached
  printout will be revised and provided to you.  In May a
  final printout will be sent to notify school divisions of
  the total adjustment to be made on May 16.
