| SUBJECT: | Transmittal of "Statement of Administrative Impact and Projected Costs of Implementation" for the Proposed Regulations Establishing Standards for Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia |
As part of its responsibilities in the process of
promulgating new regulations or revisions to existing
regulations, the Board is required to develop a statement of
the administrative impact of the regulation and the
projected costs of implementation of and compliance with
such regulation. The Board and the Department are required
to send a copy of the statement to each division
superintendent [See: 22.1-17 of the Code of Virginia].
Attached please find a copy of the statement for the
Proposed Regulations Establishing Standards for Accrediting
Public Schools in Virginia, as they are published in The
Virginia Register of Regulations, Volume 13, Issue 13 pp.
1450-1469.
Attachment: A hard copy of this memo and its attachment
will be sent to the superintendent's office.
