SUBJECT:	Transmittal of "Statement of Administrative Impact and Projected Costs of Implementation" for the Proposed Licensure Regulations for School Personnel

In accordance with its responsibilities in the process of promulgating
new regulations, the Board of Education is required to develop a 
statement of the administrative impact of the Proposed Licensure
Regulations for School Personnel and the projected costs of implementation
and compliance with such regulations on school divisions.  The Board 
and the Department of Education are required to send a copy of the
statement to each division superintendent.  (Refer to Section 22.1-17
of the Code of Virginia).  Attached is a copy of the statement for the
Proposed Licensure Regulations for School Personnel, as they are 
published in The Virginia Register of Regulations, Volume 13, 
Issue 25, pp.3287-3344.
