| SUBJECT: | Training for the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) Summary of Answers |
Superintendent's Memorandum No. 46 was used as the transmittal for each school division's test results on the PSAT/NMSQT. The test results, known as the Summary of Answers, are made available to those school divisions testing twenty-five or more students. The Department of Education and The College Board are offering two training sessions on the PSAT/NMSQT Summary of Answers. The sessions will be offered in Richmond and Harrisonburg. The dates and locations of the sessions are as follows. Please note that the date of the Richmond training session has been changed from April 14 to May 5. Harrisonburg, Virginia - April 29, 1998 James Madison University, University Center Taylor Hall, Room 306 Richmond, Virginia - May 5, 1998 Department of Education, James Monroe State Office Building 101 North 14th Street, First Floor Conference Rooms D & E Check-in for each session will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the training will begin at 9:00 a.m. It is anticipated that each session will end at approximately 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. It is suggested that an instructional supervisor, high school administrator, or guidance counselor represent your school division. Each participant is asked to bring the Summary of Answers for his/her school and/or school division. Attached is a registration form for those attending the training sessions.
