SUBJECT: Transmittal Letter for the Press Release on the Schedule for Setting Pass Scores

  
  Attached for your information is a press release which
  provides the steps and timetable the Board of Education is
  following to set the passing scores for the new Standards
  of Learning tests.  I thought you would find    it helpful to
  have this information as the Board moves forward through
  this process.  The press release is also on the
  Department's wed page at http://www.pen.k12.va.us.
