| SUBJECT: | Reports of the Standard Setting Committees for the Standards of Learning Assessment Program |
At its meeting last night, the Board of Education received the reports of the Standard Setting Advisory Committee and the eight Standard Setting Committees for the Standards of Learning (SOL) assessment program. Attached is a table containing a summary of the ranges established by the committees for each of the SOL tests. Also attached is a table containing the statewide average raw scores for each of the SOL tests administered in the spring of 1998.
