| SUBJECT: | Carl D. Perkins Vocational Education Funds Reimbursement Forms |
Informational Supts. Memo. No. 133, dated September 11,
1998, informed school divisions that 20 percent of the
Vocational Education federal entitlement would have to
be claimed through the reimbursement process. The Carl
D. Perkins Vocational Education requisition form (BA033)
enclosed must be used when requesting the remaining 20
percent of your federal entitlement.
LEAs will not be permitted to carry over any Perkins
funds to September 30 of the next fiscal year as has
been permitted in the past. All funds must be spent in
the current fiscal year (See attached memo from Dr.
Neils Brooks dated January 6, 1999).
Please submit the completed forms to Patricia Brooks,
Accounting and Finance Division, P. O. Box 2120,
Richmond, Virginia 23218, by June 7, 1999, for payment
within this fiscal year.
