| SUBJECT: | Report of Special Education Students and Special Education Expenditures by Locality |
In response to requests from division superintendents, attached is
information submitted by local school divisions regarding the number
of students receiving special education, and the level of special
education expenditures from all sources (local, state, and federal).
Information is provided for each locality for the years 1990-91
through 1997-98. Student information was compiled from the December 1
unduplicated counts of children receiving special education and
related services. Expenditure data were compiled from Schedule A of
he Superintendent's Annual Reports and from localities' reimbursement
claims under the Comprehensive Services Act (special education only).
