| SUBJECT: | Projected Fall 2000 Student Membership for Standards of Learning Booklets |
The Department of Education will assist school divisions in complying with the Standards of Accreditation by printing copies of the Standards of Learning, the state graduation requirements, and the testing schedule for distribution to each school division. The materials from the Department will be mailed to each division in time for distribution in the fall. In order to avert some of the problems we had with this year's distribution, we are asking you to give us your best estimate of your projected student membership for the fall of the year 2000. The SOL Booklet Excel spreadsheet can be downloaded from the Department's website at http://www.pen.k12.va.us by selecting "Data and Publications" and then selecting "Report of SOL Booklets 2000-2001." The complete address for accessing the SOL Booklet spreadsheet is: http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Publications/SOLBooklets/datacoll/coll.htm Instructions for updating projections are included on the attached pages. Please return this information no later than April 28, 2000.
