INFORMATIONAL

The Virginia Department of Education and Harcourt Educational Measurement will 
conduct pre-administration workshops for division directors of testing, plus two 
additional division representatives.  Please note that we cannot accommodate more 
than three persons per school division.  The goals of the workshops are to provide 
information on test administration details, such as completion of answer documents, 
packaging materials for return, and the procedures involved in the scoring and 
return of results.   It is important that each school division's director of 
testing is represented.

Five workshops have been planned across the state in Marion, Roanoke, Culpeper, 
Virginia Beach, and Richmond.  If the workshop nearest your division does not 
accommodate the schedule of your director of testing, it is permissible to sign up 
for a different one.  All meetings will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
  We have sent this information, along with a registration form, to your division 
director of testing but wanted you to be aware of these workshops.
