INFORMATIONAL

Attachment A is a printout reflecting the adjustments that will be made beginning 
with the February EDI.  These adjustments include tuition payments for Summer 
Residential Governor's Schools and Foreign Language Academies, Homebound, Remedial 
Summer School, and the MH/MR Transfer.  Also included are adjustments for school 
divisions that did not participate in the Driver Education program in 1998-99.

Attachment B is a printout that provides detail information on the MH/MR Transfer.  
This adjustment is for the school division's share of the cost for educating children
in state mental retardation facilities (MR) and in state mental health hospitals (MH).
The data used to calculate this adjustment are based on enrollment data for the 
1998-99 school year.  This action is in accordance with language contained in Item 
138.C.2.d.1) and 2) of Chapter 935, 1999 Virginia Acts of Assembly.
